Rateeba Al-Hefni

Rateeba Al-Hefni, the first president of the Egyptian opera house, passed in September at the age of 82. Her funeral was held at the Opera Mosque, as per her request. A trained opera singer, she was considered one of the most influential people when it came to music and art.
