Taba is one of the great destinations that Egypt has to offer and many have not explored it yet. We have an InterContinental hotel that boasts sandy beaches, turquoise waters, delicious food and recreational opportunities. I just love going there. How do you like to spend your vacation? A little of everything is usually great. I enjoy traveling in general and beaches in particular, and I try to see as much as I can wherever I go. What is your favorite traditional Egyptian food, and where do you like to go for an enjoyable meal? Andrea El Haram is one of the better-known classics, serving up what is arguably the best grilled chicken in town. At our hotel, Sushiramis is one of them for sure — I’ll let the sushi and sashimi do the talking. We use only the freshest of ingredients, and Chef Edwin is a master of sushi. Another one is The Grill where you can enjoy contemporary, traditional and brasserie French cuisine in an elegant ambience overlooking the Nile. You have to try the foie gras — it’s a trademark of The Grill. If you could recommend just one thing an Egyptian should see or do in Egypt, what would it be? Go to El Muezz Street — one of the best medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world still standing in modern times and considered one of the major landmarks of the city. Or a felucca trip during the day, taking in the colorful sights of the Nile. Both are amazing experiences that really reflect the beauty that can be found in our great Egypt. |
