CAIRO – 6 March 2021: The US embassy in Cairo welcomed American National Football League players (NFL) who came to Egypt on an entertaining touristic tour.
The players; Roosevelt Nix-Jones, Kevin Hogan, and Austin Hooper, are on a vacation to enjoy the warm weather and the bright sun, in addition to visiting tourist attractions, and archaeological sites to get to know more about the ancient Egyptian civilization.
The embassy shared a number of photos from the tour on its official account on Instagram
The three football stars enjoyed visiting the Pyramids during their vacation in Egypt.
This comes within the framework of the efforts exerted by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion to boost Egyptian tourism.
Their tourism program in Egypt included visiting the most important tourist and archaeological monuments in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Luxor, including the Citadel of Salah al-Din, the Interfaith Complex, Historic Cairo, the Luxor temples, Karnak, the Valley of the Kings and other archaeological sites, and these stars started their program, on Friday, along with a visit to the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, as well as a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
