CAIRO - 4 July 2017: Cairo will once again send a list of names of Muslim Brotherhood elements staying in Qatar and Turkey to the Interpol to demand they be extradited to Egypt.
The move comes as a deadline set by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for Qatar to respond to their demands ends Tuesday night, a well-placed security source at the Interior Ministry told MENA Monday.
The Public Prosecution had issued arrest warrants for some of those on the list, while others had been convicted by Egyptian courts in absentia, the source noted.
The list will be sent to the Interpol to reissue red bulletins against the MB elements, the source said.
Topping the list are Youssef el Qaradawi, Wagdi Ghoneim, Yehia Hamed, Tareq el Zomor and Ahmed Mansour.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain had submitted 13 demands to Kuwait - which is brokering a solution to the crisis with Qatar - for Doha to respond to before the deadline ends.
One such demand is for Doha to shut Al Jazeera channel. Qatar was also told to reduce its diplomatic representation in Iran, close a Turkish military base on its soil and to cut ties with the MB and all terrorist organizations.
The four countries also demanded that Qatar extradite all elements wanted over terrorism charges.
