Pictures: Civil protection unit rescues cat stuck on muti-storey building

CAIRO – 26 February 2021: A civil protection unit rescued a cat that had been stuck for a week behind a water pipe in the back of a residential building in New Cairo.

Civil protection men descended the building from the roof using a rope to get the cat out of the window where she was stuck, after resident’s attempts to save it failed.

The cat was stuck after falling from the roof to the water pipe.

The residents, however, could deliver food to her throughout the week in a box tied with a rope.
