CAIRO – 25 February 2021: Head of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Counter-Terrorism Advisory Group Ronald Louboutk praised the Egyptian experience in the field of combating terrorism in Sinai, describing it as “very successful.”
He further called on countries to benefit from this experience to maintain a balance between combating terrorism and human rights.
The head of the Inter-Parliamentary Counter-Terrorism Advisory Group called, in televised statements, Thursday to study the intellectual and cultural content of peoples, to be able to confront terrorism.
He added that the union is also working to help countries develop thought and community culture.
Louboutk emphasized that terrorism is “not an easy issue,” and that it is imperative to work to confront it through educating people, controlling terrorist outposts and elements to prevent them from moving from place to place.
