Egyptian TV Presenter Amr Adib leaves hospital after car accident

CAIRO – 17 February 2021: Famous Egyptian TV Presenter Amr Adib had a car accident late Tuesday, and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Doctors said Adib suffered minor injuries due to the airbags that were suddenly deployed, triggered by the collision. He was discharged from hospital during the early hours of Wednesday, after receiving required treatment.

The accident took place on Dahshour highway road, when a speedy car hit his car from the behind, causing disruption of the steering wheel. His car then collided with another car moving in the front, leaving the front part of Adib’s car smashed. He was then transferred to a hospital in 6 of October city.

Prosecution ordered to start investigation into the accident, and to seize surveillance cameras to retrieve footage and stand on the reason behind the crash.

The residents reported the accident to the ambulance, while detectives headed to the accident site for inspection.
