CAIRO - 3 July 2017: Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan said that since the beginning of 2011, Egypt has been facing all forms of terrorism, but thanks to its wise leadership, the country was rescued from destruction in 2013.
Speaking at an international labor conference on Monday, is held under the theme "decent work in the tourism sector", the minister said that the tourism sector faced many challenges over the past five years because of the political and economic changes and despicable terrorist operations, a matter that led to a decrease in the inbound tourism flow.
The tourism sector rebounded by the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017, Safan stressed.
The conference honored Chairman of the Union of Egyptian Workers Jebali el Maraghi, Secretary General of the World Federation of Trade Unions George Mavrikos and Secretary-General of the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions Ghassan Ghosn.
