CAIRO - 3 July 2017: A large number of Qatari opposition activists called to take to the streets and main roads next Friday in what they call the “Friday of Anger” to overthrow Tamim Bin Hamad’s regime.
This came in objection to bin Hamad’s policies that led the Arab countries to boycott Qatar.
The Qatari activists affirmed that bin Hamad’s policies have put their country in a difficult position and has led to the deterioration of the country's economy.
Qatari sources told Egypt Today on Monday that hundreds of thousands of Qataris are fed up with the current situation in the rich emirate, from the suppression of freedom to arrests, injustice and tyranny.
The sources added that the demonstrations that are set to take place after Friday prayers, which will be aimed at restoring all the rights that were stolen from the Qatari citizens because of their differences with the members of the Al-Thani family and restoring the relations with the Gulf, as well as the departure of the Emir Tamim bin Hamad.
