CAIRO - 5 February 2021: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained about EGP 10.9 billion over the past week after its indexes went up collectively.
The market capital increased 1.6 percent, registering EGP 706.3 billion, compared to EGP 695.4 billion the previous week, the EGX said in its weekly report.
The EGX 30 benchmark index rose 0.17 percent, recording 11,598.85 points, while the EGX 70 EWI of the small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) jumped 2.13 percent, hitting 2,414.92 points.
According to the report, the all-embracing EGX 100 index was also up 1.46 percent over the past week, recording 3,440.18 points.
