The Muslim Brotherhood group has been also blacklisted for five years, along with other people including famous figures with links to the outlawed group.
The blacklisted individuals include Ahmed Abdel Monem Aboul Fotouh, acting guide of the Brotherhood group Mahmoud Ezzat, deputy general guide of the group Ibrahim Mounir and businessman Hassan Malek.
The placed individuals include women called Faten Ismail and Maha Azzam.
They also include Hany Hesham, Hussein Youssif, Mohamed Sudan, Diaa Al-Moghazy, Lotfy Aly, Mohamed Heshmat, Hossam Al-Attar, Amr Khattab, Amr El-Helw, Moazz Mansour, Adham Hussein, Karam Abdel Wahab and Fares El-Gawad.
Egypt has designated the Muslim Brotherhood group as terrorist since late in 2013.
This came after former President Mohamed Morsi, who also served as head of the "terrorist" group, was ousted. Morsi died in June 2019 after he collapsed in court during his trial.
