The court sentenced seven other defendants to five years in jail, while 29 people have been acquitted in the case.

The defendants have also been indicted for the premeditated murder of citizens and police forces, who were tasked with dispersing their armed sit-in, in addition to attempted murder and deliberately disrupting traffic.
