Russian FM describes US-Russian relations as abnormal

MOSCOW - 30 June 2017: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov described on Friday the US-Russian relations as abnormal.

He added on the sidelines of the Primakov Readings (international conference of top-rated political experts) held in the Russian capital Moscow, that many countries concerned about the abnormal situation of relations between Russia and the US, which have recently declined as a result of internal political confrontation in the United States.

He hoped that the upcoming meeting between the Russian and US presidents in the German city of Hamburg on the sidelines of G20 economic group meeting next week, will help clarify the future and prospects of relations between both countries.
