CAIRO - 30 October 2020: Minister of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram said on Friday that Egyptian expatriates will vote in the second stage of the first round of the parliament's election on November 2-3.
Egyptians abroad will be required to print their ballot papers via the National Election Authority (NEA)’s website and send them to the premises of the Egyptian diplomatic missions in the countries they live in, Makram said in a statement.
Egyptian embassies and diplomatic missions will be receiving the voting envelopes on November 4 through 6 from the Egyptian voters who have already registered their names on the NEA's website, according to Makram.
The minister noted that there is constant coordination between her ministry and the NEA, chaired by Counselor Lashin Ibrahim, to respond to all inquiries from Egyptians abroad on the House of Representatives election.
The second stage of parliament elections will cover 13 governorates: Cairo, Qaliubiya, Daqahliya, Menoufia, Gharbia, Kafr el Sheikh, Sharqiya, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai.
