CAIRO – 23 October 2020: Egypt’s president Abdel Fatah welcomed, Friday, efforts to normalize relations between Sudan and Israel.
“I welcome the joint efforts of the United States of America, Sudan and Israel regarding the normalization of relations between Sudan and Israel, and I value all efforts aimed at achieving regional stability and peace.” Sisi said in a tweet following the announcement by American president Donald Trump.

Earlier Friday, the united states brokered a deal to normalize relations between Israel and Sudan.
In a phone call between all three leaders of the United states, Sudan and Israel they agreed to begin economic and trade relations, with an initial focus on agriculture.
A joint statement issued by the three countries stated that: “The leaders agreed to the normalization of relations between Sudan and Israel and to end the state of belligerence between their nations.”
