Egypt’s First lady: October 6 marks people’s solidarity with armed forces

CAIRO – 6 October 2020: Egypt’s first Lady Entissar el-Sisi said Tuesday that the date 6 of October will remain “one of the greatest and most glorious days in Egypt,” according to her post on Facebook.

She said that the date does not only mark a military victory, but was an example of the Egyptian people’s solidarity with their armed forces to restore respect, the land and achieve peace.

In her post, the first lady continued, “May God have mercy upon our heroes, our children and everyone whose blood was shed defending the nation.”
