Egypt's Sisi discusses digitalization of judicial system with young judges

CAIRO - 5 October 2020: In a meeting with representatives of "distinguished young judges," President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi expressed the state's keenness to develop the the judicial system, especially in terms of digitalization as a strategic approach for the government. 
 
Sisi said on Saturday he also supports qualifying caders at the best levels to take the lead of this approach. 
 
The young judges said they appreciated the renovation of Galaa Court Complex in Cairo according to the best standards of structural designs, given that it is a historical building and receives huge numbers of citizens every day. 
 
They added that raising the efficiency and the digitalization of the judcial system would facilitate a judge's job as well as plaintiffs' affairs, especially in terms of family court cases. 
 
The president also met with Minister of Justice Omar Marwan, and they discussed the digitalization of the Notary Office, whose documents will be released from the center of secured state documents in order to counter forgery. They agreed to expedite the process of issuing notarized documents and review the standardized content of all kinds of such documents to facilitate and expedite citizens' affairs.
