Egypt’s Foreign Ministry denounces false Turkish allegations

CAIRO – 19 September 2020: The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement Saturday that it denounces statements made by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu during an interview he had with CNN Turk channel.

The Ministry’s said it rejects Çavuşoğlu,s negative statements on the Egyptian political developments following June 30 revolution, which indicates Turkey’s commitment to false claims to serve ideological goals.

Addressing Egypt in such a negative and paradoxical tone discredits any attempts to set an atmosphere for a relation based on respect and International legitimacy, said Egypt’s statement.
