Egypt calls on nationals abroad to register data ahead of parliamentary elections

CAIRO – 14 September 2020: Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Egyptian expatriates to register their data on the official website of the National Elections Authority (NEA) ahead of the parliamentary elections set to be held soon. 

Egyptians abroad can register their data during the period from Sunday, September 27 to Saturday, October 10, according to the Foreign Ministry.

Voters will then be able to print their ballot papers and vote via mail at the scheduled dates.

This coincides with the NEA’s invitation to Egyptians abroad to participate in the 2020 House of Representatives elections, and the issuance of a resolution to organize the vote of Egyptian expats during the parliamentary elections.
