Egypt's chief of staff attends main stage of Fath-41 two-level external command centers project

CAIRO – 14 September 2020: Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid attended Monday the main stage of Fath-41 two-level external command centers project carried out over several days by a formation of the Central Military Zone.

The main stage began with preparations for the battle as reports and decisions were presented. Then, the organization of the cooperation among the elements in the formation was set up. Finally, the chief of staff checked the command and control centers to ensure their readiness and qualification.

The chief of staff determined the high combat readiness of the participating elements as they were highly skilled in the use of the most modern command, control, and organization systems in order to implement the planned and urgent missions throughout the project's stages.

Farid delivered the greetings of both Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, and General Commander Mohamed Zaki, the minister of defense and military production.

The chief of staff stressed that training is the core of combat competency and the determinant factor of the Armed Forces' success in accomplishing missions. Farid discussed with the elements taking part in the project the ways they adopt to carry out duties, and how they make decisions in case of unseen changes while commanding the operations.

The project was also attended by a number of high-ranking commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
