Egyptian naval and air force units arrived in Greece to take part in Medusa 5 joint drills - Egypt Today
ATHENS, Aug 26 (MENA) - The Greek Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that joint military drills will start on Wednesday with other countries and last until Friday in the Eastern Mediterranean.
According to Radio France Internationale, the drills will be held with France, Italy and Cyprus in the Island of Crete.
The radio added that discovering gas fields in the area caused tension in the past few years between Ankara and Athens.
