CAIRO – 16 August 2020: In his speech at a meeting with a number of newly-appointed military officers, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki affirmed that Egypt will remain safe as long as the sons of nations sacrifice themselves to protect it.
He highlighted the importance of promoting awareness of the dangers of atypical wars, malicious attempts of destabilizing the nation and dangers of systematic criminal operations that seek to ruin homeland, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Mohamed Farid, leaders of the main branches of the Armed Forces and a number of senior commanders.
The discussion began with a minute of silence for the martyrs of Egypt who lost their lives in protecting the home.
