42,265 traffic fines recorded nationwide

CAIRO - 26 June 2017: Security forces launched a wide-scale security campaign in the last 24 hours to maintain discipline on Egypt's streets.

A total of 42,265 traffic violation fines were recorded and 43 people were held driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Also, 1,519 violating motorbikes were impounded by the security men.
