Command of Libyan Armed Forces praises Egypt's historic stance in support of Libya

TRIPOLI - 26 June 2020: The General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces has lauded the historic role played by Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to support the Arab country to combat terrorism.

In a televised statement made on Thursday, the command praised the stance of the Egyptian people and leadership in solidarity with the Libyan people to maintain the Arab country's security and stability.

Spokesman for the Libyan National Army (LNA) Ahmed al Mesmari assured that the fight against terrorism, mercenaries and Turkish interference will only stop with securing sovereignty and the full liberation of Libyan territories.

Al Mesmari extended thanks to the Arab countries that backed Libya to overcome this crisis and counter terrorism and foreign interference.
