RIYADH - 26 June 2020: Saudi newspaper Al Bilad out on Friday asserted that Egypt's security is part of the Saudi and Arab national security, pointing out to Arab countries support - topped by Saudi Arabia - to Egypt in defending its national security against militias and Turkish interference in Libya.
In an editorial titled " Arab Security", the daily newspaper said the Turkish regime insists to interfere in Libya by sending more mercenaries and supplying militants with arms, despite international efforts and calls for ceasefire and returning to the political negotiations.
Turkey aims to deepen the conflict in Libya by pushing the Government of National Accord to advance towards the oil belt and then to the strategic cities of Sirte and al Jufra, which are controlled by the Libyan National Army, the newspaper added.
