ِEgypt's Housing min. follows up progress in 'Magra el Oyoun' renovation project

CAIRO- 4 June 2020: Minister of Housing Assem el Gazzar held an extended meeting to follow up on progress in the implementation of "Magra el Oyoun" renovation project in Misr el Qadima (Old Cairo) district.

During the meeting, Gazzar gave directives to quicken the pace of work at the project aimed at converting the famed Mamluk-era relic into a colossal cultural complex.

Gazzar said that the renovation plans include building restaurants, cafes, bazaars, hotels, and an open-air theater.
