New French amb. in Cairo hails political ties with Egypt

CAIRO - 25 June 2017:The newly-appointed French Ambassador in Cairo Stéphane Romatet lauded the political relations between France and Egypt, which reached unprecedented level of partnership.

On the French Embassy’s Facebook page, Romatet expressed pride and gratitude for his selection to represent his country in Egypt.

Also, the new French diplomat asserted that he will proceed with fostering bilateral ties and achieving rapprochement between the two communities in different fields.

Romatet stressed that he will endeavor to handle issues of security, cultural and investment, as well as regional issues for the best interests of both countries
