Chinese amb: Egyptian-Chinese cooperation to curb Covid19

CAIRO, May 11 (MENA) - Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang reiterated strong cooperation ties binding Egypt and China, voicing China's deep support of all Egyptian efforts to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy Monday the ambassador said China handed over to Egypt the second batch of medical assistance supplies, adding that the third batch is expected to arrive soon.

The Chinese diplomat reiterated his country's support of all economic and social development efforts in Egypt, the statement added.

Egypt and China are set to celebrate the 64th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations this month.
