Kuwait mourns Egyptian Quran reciter Tablawi

CAIRO - 7 May 2020: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has mourned legendary Quran reciter Mohamed Mahmoud el Tablawi, who passed away Tuesday at the age of 86.

In a press statement on Wednesday, the ministry described Tabalawi's death as a "great loss" to the Islamic world.

It added that Tablawi left behind a great deal of fascinating Holy Quran recordings, which will remain unforgettable.
