Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani
CAIRO, April 26 (MENA) - Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Khaled el Anani has revoked the licence of a big hotel in Sharm el Sheikh after its management laid off workers amid the coronavirus crisis.
The hotel's decision came in violation of the ministry's directives not to lay off the experienced hospitality workers to protect the tourism sector from any negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
In the meantime, Anani ordered the closure of two tourist restaurants in Cairo for violating the directives regulating the operation of the tourist facilities, restaurants, and cafes during the curfew period.
