Part of Egypt's National Road network project
CAIRO, April 11 (MENA) - Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir inspected Saturday the first phase of a project to develop the western Cairo-Aswan desert road.
The 230-kilometer-long phase runs from Cairo to Minya.
The minister stressed the importance of continuing such road projects, which he said are of great importance to Egypt's economy and sustainable development.
He also thanked construction companies for their keenness on finalizing the project on time, while taking into account precautionary measures against the novel coronavirus.
