Cabinet denies reports on canceling ban on Friday prayers

CAIRO, April 4 (MENA) - The Cabinet Information Center on Saturday denied reports published by some social media websites on a decision by the Awqaf Ministry canceling a ban on Friday prayers.

The center, in a statement, said that it contacted the Ministry of Awqaf which denied the reports and confirmed that no new decision was issued in this regard.

The ministry also confirmed that the ban will continue until the coronavirus is completely defeated.
