KHARTOUM, March 16 (MENA) - Egypian Ambassador to Sudan Hossam Eissa said the Egyptian-Sudanese crossings were exceptionally opened for two days for those stranded on both sides to go to their homeland.
In statements to MENA on Monday, Eissa said both sides agreed to open the crossings for two days.
He hailed the cooperation on the Sudanese side, urging Egyptians in Sudan seeking to return home to swiftly go to the crossings before their closure for an unknown period over the outbreak of the coronavirus.
