Spanish ambassador visits Youm7, Egypt Today

CAIRO - 10 March 2020: Spanish ambassador to Egypt Ramón Gil Casares visited Youm7 and Egypt Today magazine headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday where he discussed several subjects with editor-in-chief Khaled Salah and other journalists working at the newspaper.

Media advisor to the embassy Francisco Gutiérrez and Taha Ziada, representative of the media office at the embassy, accompanied the ambassador in the visit.



Salah took the delegation in a tour in the multi-storey headquarters to show them the mechanism of work at the different editorial section. The editor-in-chief said Youm7 is keen on strengthening relations with international institutions and diplomatic missions that enjoy good relationships with Egypt.



He thanked the ambassador for visiting the newspaper and they both discussed Egyptian-Spanish relations in the field of gas and energy, as well as Spain's experience in transforming football into a huge industry and a tool to build relations with different countries.

They also tackled the future of journalism and online journalism, which is facing many challenges.
