Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak dies at 91 - Reuters
CAIRO – 26 February 2020: Egyptian prominent businessman and parliamentarian Mohamed Abul-Enein, mourned Tuesday the death of the former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak who passed away earlier today at the age of 91 in a Cairo hospital.
Abu El-Enein praised Mubarak’s military heroism, his history of achievements, and his adherence to staying on the homeland until his death.
The Egyptian parliamentarian asserted that the late President Mubarak will remain a bright sign in Egypt's modern history and glorious heroism.
“He has ruled the country sincerely, abandoned tall. He lived and died faithfully,” Abu El-Enein said.
“The late President Mubarak will remain a bright sign in Egypt’s modern history and its glorious heroics, an integral part of the nation’s personality, and his name will remain in Egypt’s accomplishments for many years,” he added.
He praised Mubarak, saying that he will remain in the science of international politics, with his long history, strong relations with the world, and his historic leadership in the Middle East.
Mubarak, the fourth president to Egypt, ruled the country for a period of 30 years before he was forced to step down on February 11, 2011 as a result of the January 25 Revolution.
Military funeral expected to be held in the afternoon of February 26 for former President. The country declared three days of national mourning starting from Wednesday.
