Egypt, US talk cooperation over students' scholarships, teachers' training

CAIRO - 21 February 2020: Minister of Education Tarek Shawky conferred on Thursday with US Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Marie Royce on boosting cooperation in the various fields, especially in education and training.

During the meeting, Shawky and Royce discussed enhancing students' scholarships and teachers' exchange program through short-term missions for having training.

Shawky expounded to Royce the progress and the measures Egypt has taken for the sake of developing the education services.

For her side, Royce underscored her country’s readiness to boost partnership with Egypt in the field of education, hailing the special ties and cooperation between the two countries.
