Egypt condemns terrorist attack on Algerian military barrack

CAIRO - 13 February 2020: Egypt condemned Sunday’s attack on an Algerian military barrack near the country’s border with Mali, leaving one soldier dead.

In a press release by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, Cairo asserted its solidarity with the Algerian people and government, expressing heartfelt condolences with the victim's family.

The ministry also stressed Egypt's rejection of all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism.
