CAIRO – 19 June 2017: Britain's Ambassador in Cairo John Casson stressed on Sunday that Egyptians were able to develop their state.
Addressing an Iftar hosted by businessmen, Casson said he hopes Egyptians' learning abilities will be exploited, particularly as their population is expected to hit 150 million in 2050.
The British embassy is keen on honoring inspired Egyptian figures in all fields of life, he said.
The diplomat urged work with scientists and the civil society to build a new Egypt.
Egypt is rich of talented people and those who inspire others, he said.
