CAIRO, June 18 (MENA) – Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met with the Austrian ambassador to Egypt to follow up the outcome of the visit of Austrian Chancellor Christian Kernlat in May.

The Egyptian transport minister attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ismail expressed hope that the coming stage would witness progress in bilateral cooperation in the different horizons in light of the keenness of the Austrian companies to make expansions in the Egyptian market in the different fields including transport, agriculture, chemical and engineering industries, building materials, food industry and medical drugs.

On the other hand, the Austrian ambassador asserted that activating the outcome of Kern’s visit will contribute to boosting bilateral cooperation and opening new aspects of cooperation to establish recycling factory to be used in agriculture and benefit from modern Austrian modern techniques to support agricultural and animal production in addition to exchanging expertise in the field of manufacturing agricultural machines and instrument.

The Austrian ambassador said that his country is ready to offer all the facilities to establish joint projects in the different domains especially the infrastructure.

The meeting also tackled the preparations for holding the meetings of the 3rd Egyptian-Austrian committee for economic cooperation which is due in Egypt as soon as possible.
