Railway Authority to provide 10 additional trains for feast

CAIRO – 18 June 2007: The Railway Authority is providing ten additional trains, including six equipped with air conditioners, on the occasion of the feast, chairman of the authority Medhat Shousha stated Saturday.

The trains, as well as 50 additional carts, will operate between June 18 and July 4, Shousha told ONLive, stating that the added seats amount to 33,455.

The authority, Shousha said, is following the same measures it took last year to prevent selling tickets in the black market.

The additional trains are set to operate starting Sunday, and reservations are available 48 hours before the trip.
