CAIRO - 28 January 2020: Palestine's permanent representative to the Arab League called for holding an extraordinary meeting to review the Deal of the Century, which is expected to be announced by US President Donald Trump.

According to an Arab diplomatic source, the extraordinary meeting will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2 in the presence of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian President called the Palestinian leaders on Tuesday to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the Deal of the Century.

Recently, during the Palestinian council meeting, Prime Minister Mohamed Ashtee called on the international community not to be part of this deal, as it contravenes the international law and violates the Palestinian people’s rights, according to Palestinian News Agency (WFA).

Ashtee added that the deal just serves the Israeli occupation without solving the conflict between Palestine and Israel.

US President Trump said earlier on Tuesday that he will announce the Deal of the Century in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
