CAIRO, Jan 27 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli underlined the importance of accelerating development of Greater Cairo, especially upgrading roads and cleaning mechanisms as they affect people's daily life.
He said nontraditional executive plans are needed to cope with the state's unprecedented projects in order to renovate Greater Cairo.
Cabinet Spokesman Nader Saad said the state spared no efforts to spend money on upgrading Greater Cairo roads and getting rid of slum areas.
The premier tasked Cairo and Giza governors to set emergency executive plans with timetables to accomplish these goals.
The premier called for benefiting from expertise of research centers and engineering faculties to draw up innovative solutions in view of limited resources and time.
The premier is due to review these plans within the coming few days to start implementing them.
