Azhar confronts extremism through issuing over 5K reports

CAIRO, Jan 21 (MENA) - Al Azhar Observatory for Fighting Extremism on Tuesday said that the observatory has issued more than 5,388 follow-up reports during 2019.

The observatory explained in a statement that these reports were issued on daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Also around 104 reports and articles were published on Al Azhar portal along with 314 other articles in English.

The observatory also received 98 international figures and prominent politicians and participated in more than 30 local and international events, added the statement.
