Syndicate of Journalists files report to PG against fake journalism entities, individuals

CAIRO, Dec 31 (MENA) - The Syndicate of Journalists Council has decided to lodge an official complaint with the Prosecutor General against individuals and entities which use fake journalism identities in violation of the law and constitution.

The decision to take legal action against these violators came during a meeting of the syndicate’s board to discuss the crisis of fake journalism entities which are granting individuals fake journalism cards.

The syndicate’s Secretary General, Amr Badr, said in statements on Tuesday that the syndicate council has prepared a list of the violating entities which he put at 12, asserting that a legal adviser has been assigned to follow up on the issue.
