Lebanese speaker says formation of gov't should be expedited

BEIRUT, Dec 28 (MENA) - Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Saturday said that his country has entered a critical stage at both the economic and financial levels that requires speeding up the formation of the new government to salvage the situation.

The new government should comprise all political spectra, even those who didn't pick Hassan Diab during the consultations held to name the new premier, Lebanese newspaper Al Joumhouria quoted the speaker as saying.
