Sisi reviews Egypt’s strategy in higher, technical education field

CAIRO - 24 December 2019: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviewed Egypt’s strategy in the field of higher and technical education, which contributes to presenting qualified technicians to the labor market.

This came during his meeting with the Arab ministers of higher education and scientific research on Tuesday in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar.

The president emphasized that youth represent a high percentage of the Arab countries' population; therefore, governments should use the youth's energy and capabilities to build societies. The president stressed the necessity to raise youth's aware of the challenges that the region is going through.

According to a statement released by presidential spokesperson Bassam Rady, the ministers are participating in the 17th Conference of Arab Education and Scientific Research that is held in Cairo on December 23-25.
