Helwan Uni. garners 27 medals in Championship for Disabled students

CAIRO – 18 December 2019: Helwan University garnered 27 medals (8 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze) in the Championship for People with Disabilities held for the Egyptian universities in Alexandria.

The championship was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and was attended by 21 Egyptian universities.

This comes within the framework of Helwan University's efforts to enhance the health, psychological and recreational conditions of students with disabilities through practicing sports.

Helwan University, according to a statement issued by the university Wednesday, has hit high ranks in group games, as it won the first place for football, the first place for volleyball attended by sitting students, and the third place for goal ball by female students.
