CAIRO - 5 December 2019: The Planning Ministry on Wednesday launched a mobile application dubbed "Sharek 2030" or "Participate 2030" to help citizens follow up finalized or under-construction development projects as well as development indicators during the proceedings of CAIRO ICT 2019.
In a statement, Minister Hala el Saeed said the application will expound the country's development vision in a simplified way and will provide enough information on strategic projects and development programs in application of the transparency principle adopted by the government to achieve the 2030 development goals.
The app aims at enhancing interaction between the government and citizens and increasing citizens' participation in development projects, she added.
The app will allow citizens to follow up and assess the under-construction development projects, said Assistant Planning Minister for Sustainable Development Plan Affairs Gamil Helmi.
The application includes the 17 goals of the development strategy and all related development programs and projects, he added.
