BEIRUT, Nov 28 (MENA) - Arab League (AL) Assistant Secretary General Hossam Zaki said Wednesday that the pan-Arab organization is keen on supporting Lebanon in a way that serves its stability and social peace and helps its overcome its running crisis.
Speaking to MENA as he arrived in Beirut, leading an AL delegation, Zaki stressed the importance of unity among all the Lebanese people, calling on them to rise above all differences, counter division and strengthen their values of coexistence and social harmony.
During his visit, Zaki is expected to hold several meetings with senior officials, leaders of parties and politicians in Lebanon, topped by President Michel Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri.
