CAIRO – 25 November 2019: On the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the League of Arab State’s Council at the ministerial level in Cairo, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on Monday.
The meeting tackled the bilateral relations and the regional and international issues of mutual concern, said Egyptian ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ahmed Hafez in a statement on Saturday.
Both minsters tackled the latest development of the Palestinian issue, particularly following the US decision of legalizing the Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank, Hafez added.

On November 18, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters that the Israeli settlements in the West Bank is “not inconsistent with the international law.”
